With so much to do in this Jersey Shore town, you’re going to want to stay here for a few days to experience it all. Here are some of the best places to stay in town.

For an upscale experience, try The White Sands Oceanfront Resort & Spa. It’s the perfect vacation getaway with the right mix of friendliness and clean accommodations. The Sea Spa & Salon is conveniently located on site, and the beach is right across the street. Check out Lido Cafe, also located at the oceanside resort. They serve up breakfast and lunch with spectacular ocean views. Poolside and patio dining also available during peak season. For a fabulous dinner, go upstairs to Spano’s Ristorante Italiano, which offers a taste of Italy at the Jersey Shore. They specialize in delicious steaks, seafood and pasta that has made the Spano name famous for years.

If you want a clean motel that’s conveniently located, try the Driftwood Motel. This family owned and operated lodge is located on the beach in Point Pleasant Beach. The motel is located one-tenth of a mile from the Boardwalk attractions, rides, entertainment, dining, and much more. Another affordable accommodation is The Surfside, another family-operated establishment that caters to families and mature adults. They are known for providing some of the cleanest motel accommodations on the Jersey Shore. Plus the location is convenient to the boardwalk and all major attractions.

Located on Broadway, which runs perpendicular to the beach, the Shore Point Motel is open year-round and caters to families and responsible adults. It’s just a short walk to nearby restaurants, beaches, boardwalk, fishing, marinas, and Jenkinson’s Aquarium. Guests here can enjoy conveniences such as air-conditioned rooms, a heated pool, and free beach passes.

For a more quaint stay, check out Ye Olde Cottage House, located on Arnold Avenue. It’s got a villa-like setting with a gorgeous courtyard. The difference is in the details here—there are beautiful fresh flowers for outside dining. Hosts Laurie and Anthony provide a personal touch for a fabulous stay.

No matter where you stay in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, you’ll enjoy all that this charming Jersey Shore town has to offer!

Sea Isle City, located at Exit 17 on the New Jersey Parkway, is one of the southernmost resort shore towns in New Jersey. Located in Cape May County, Sea Isle City has become a tourist attraction for vacationers at the Jersey Shore.

Once a small fishing village with small summer cottages for those who like to fish, crab, or go clamming, Sea Isle has been built to a resort town with something for everyone. Back in nineteen sixty two, when there was a strong Northeastern Storm and many homes and businesses were destroyed, the City Government built a Promenade, which was essentially a sea wall to protect the shore line, but also a walkway for tourist to stroll along the beach.

Vacationers come to the Jersey Shore for the fun and sun of the beach, but are also looking for an area to relax and enjoy all of the amenities a town can offer. If it’s great food and restaurants, or the nightlife with bars and musical entertainment, or the family fun of nightly events held on the promenade, Sea Isle offers it all.

For those who want to be centrally located to everything, Sea Isle City is the perfect place to spend your vacation. With Atlantic City only thirty minutes to the north, and Cape May about twenty minutes to the South, Sea Isle allows you to have a central location with points of interest all around you. Ocean City and Wildwood are even closer so you will have a wide variety of entertainment.

The Children will love all the local entertainment offered almost every night from Movie Night where you bring your beach chairs and watch a family friendly movie outdoors under the sun, to the Dance nights with DJ’s and bands that play family favorites. Although Sea Isle caters to the adults, it also offers a lot for the young children. Sea Isle City is an outstanding town to spend your vacation year after year. Once you discover this Jersey Shores gem, you will want to come back year after year.

Located on the Marina side of Atlantic City, The Borgata Casino & Spa has been labeled the first “Mega Resort” in Atlantic City. This luxurious resort, which has over 2,000 spacious rooms and suites, 14 signature restaurants, 11 specialty boutiques, a world class spa, 1000 seat theater, 2400 seat event center, 70,000 square feet of conference space, and don’t forget the 161,120 square foot casino, is by far the most impressive of all the casino’s located in Atlantic City.

As I toured the Borgata casino and hotel floor, many things stood out above and beyond the other casino’s located in this City of fun and sun. Summing it up in one word, “Detail” would describe what I saw. From the bathrooms with the fine wood, granite sinks, and stainless steel walls, to all of the blown glass artwork, there was much detail in everything you see.

I was impressed with the “Living Room” area available for hotel guests only. This glass walled enclosed area had comfortable seating where guests could relax, converse, read, or do whatever they wanted in a welcoming atmosphere, while being able to look through the glass walls and enjoy the casino and all it has to offer.

The detail of the passage way around the outside of the casino floor allowed guests to walk the perimeter, without being interrupted by gamblers moving from one machine to the next. There were many off shoots leading to the center of the casino floor and also ones that would take you across the casino floor. The flow of walking traffic worked very well.

I also took note and liked the fact that most of the fine dining restaurants were on the same floor as the casinos. Food network celebrities Bobby Flay and Wolfgang Puck both have fine dining restaurants on this floor along with Specchio, Seablue, and the Old Homestead Steakhouse. Although some restaurants did not have menu’s on display, the average price of a meal at Seablue was $30-$50, and at Specchio & Old Homestead Steakhouse $50-$75. I have not dined at any of these, but plan on doing so this summer. I’ve been told that you will pay around $100.00/person for a fabulous meal at Bobby Flay, but worth every dollar.

For those who do not want to spend the higher prices for a meal, the Borgata offers the buffet, and also has a great food court on the lower level. The food court was very bright and clean and offered several different choices such as “Tony Lukes” Philly Sandwiches, Villa Italian, Panda Express Chinese, Hibachi-San Japanese, Lettuce Head Salad Bar, and a Fatburger. There was a Bread & Butter café on the casino floor along with a Bistro. The food choices were plenty and could satisfy any ones taste buds.

Several Bars including “Gypsy Bar”, “B” Bar, and nightclubs “Mur.Mur” and “Mix” allows you variety and excitement in a Nightclub Experience. Dress codes are enforced at many of the fine dinning restaurants and nightclubs.

For those who come to relax, you can pamper yourself at the world class Borgata Spa. Choose among the dozens of treatments, ranging from exfoliating facials to microinfusions and massages. You can also get a cut and color in the full service salon. Men can get professionally shaved and a haircut, then play billiards or watch sports on the big screen.

I almost forgot to mention the Borgata Casino. Known for it’s many slots, gaming tables, Horse racing parlor, and Poker room, this Casino offers any gambling you desire. With the “Detail” in comfortable and spacious, the casino is relaxed and well designed. Guests will not get the crowded feeling and the fun will come.

One last observation that needs to be mentioned is that the Borgata prides itself in catering to the high rollers and the young and beautiful. You won’t see the Senior Citizen buses pulling up daily unloading those who came for the free buffet and gift. This casino pays special attention to those who are serious about living the good life and offering its guests the special treatment and attention they deserve. The Borgata gets a five star rating and will set the standard for future casinos in Atlantic City.
