Morey’s Pier wins International Award

On September 5, 2007, Morey’s Pier was voted among the best “Seaside Amusement Parks” in the World. Located on the Boardwalk in Wildwood N.J., Morey’s Pier was recognized among the top three in the category of “Best Seaside Amusement Parks” in the world. This classic amusement park is the only Seaside Amusement Park on the East Coast to qualify for this prestigious Golden Ticket Award.

Sea Isle’s Fall Festival: More than just a flea market

What brings thousands of enthusiast to Sea Isle the second weekend after Labor Day is the many finds that the Promenade has to offer during one of Sea Isle’s biggest events of the year: The Fall Festival. This event starts on Friday evening with a dance contest and music for the whole family. Saturday is highlighted with the Flea Market atmosphere that spans the whole promenade and sales at all the stores in town. There is also a food court in the center of town that offers various favorites from all the local eating establishments. Music and fun happens all day long.
On Sunday, you will find an Antique Car show, sand sculpting contest, and free trolley tours for everyone. There is also a ceremony with awards for the car show, sand sculpting, and beautification awards are given out to locals who take pride in making their properties more attractive.
Sea Isle marks this weekend as one of the best in South Jersey. So come out and have a blast.

Ocean City in the Fall: One Word-Wonderful!!!

As the summer ends and fall nears, many think that the Jersey Shore is “Closed for the Season”. That is wrong in every sense. Ocean City welcomes visitors all through September and October as the weather is still warm during the days and cool at night. On any given weekend, you will find the boardwalk thriving with the shops, food, and even the amusements. Both Wonderland Pier and Playland stay open during the weekends well into October.
Come to the Jersey Shore, not only in the summer, but all year round!!!

Avalon’s Boardwalk

Avalon’s boardwalk is not what most think of at the Jersey Shore. Other than two smal eateries, (which are very good), and an arcade, this boardwalk does not have the rides, shopping, or excitement that other surrounding areas have with their boardwalk. But if you want a nice leisurely stroll, or a quiet bike ride, Avalon offers a nice quaint boardwalk that can be enjoyed by all.

Wings & Water Wildlife Arts Festival: Stone Harbor Sept. 15-16

First Annual Irish Festival in Sea Isle City
