Asbury Park, with its new revitalization has become a place for the young and old to visit for shopping and eating. On a Saturday evening, with the town starting to come to life, my wife and I wondered downtown and were looking for a light dinner. We came across “Old Man Rafferty’s” and saw that evening though it was only about 5:15, this place was almost filled to capacity. So we decided that it must be a great place for the clientele it was already accommodating.

For those of you who have not been to Asbury Park in recent days, months, or years, a revival transformation has been occurring before your very eyes. SEA GRASS RESTAURANT: OCEAN GROVE N.J. A FINE DINING TREAT


While recently visiting The Central Jersey Shore, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying in Ocean Grove N.J., which is exit 100 off the Garden State Parkway. While there, we had the excitement of finding a restaurant, Sea Grass, which was a very pleasant surprise for us. We had asked a local merchant where he liked to eat and he told us Sea Grass was the best restaurant in town. And with it being off-season, they had a Pre-fixed menu that was excellent.
