Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis

Summer fun at the Jersey Shore should include a day trip for the kids to Raging Waters or Ocean Oasis in Wildwood NJ. Located off exit 4 of the Garden State Parkway, Wildwood, along with it’s boardwalk and “Watch the Tram Car Please”, offers fun in the sun with two water parks owned and operated by Morey’s Pier.

Depending on your personal preferences and situations, both Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis offers different options for those seeking water fun. Raging Waters, located at Schellenger Ave, is the most family friendly of the two parks with many options for those with smaller children. Attractions like Shipwreck Schoals children’s play area, Camp Kidtastrophe interactive play area, and an 1100’ endless lazy river, small children have great opportunities to play all day long.

If the adults want to have some adult fun while the children are playing on the slides, you may want to consider Ocean Oasis. Along with the fun filled watermark rides, this themed park offers a bar, massages, bands, and many other adult themed activities. There may be a little less available for the very young, but they still have the lazy river, and other play areas for the little ones. One slide that is available here as compared to raging waters is the “Shotgun Falls” drop slides that makes you feel like you are free falling.

The price of tickets for 2007 are as follows:

$31.00 All Day Pass to Both Waterparks

$26.00 For a 3-Hour Session

$20.00 For a Morning Session

$15.00 For an After 5:00PM Session

Kids of all ages can have a blast at either of the Raging Waters Themed Parks located in Wildwood New Jersey. All you need to bring is a bathing suit and a good attitude and you will have the day of a lifetime.
